Glenn & Betsy were married on a beautiful New Year’s Eve day.. It was a celebration of love and happiness with their closest family & friends.

Following their nuptials, they proceeded to the very unique Camelot in Warrendale PA, in the North Hills of Pittsburgh PA.  Previously a church, this venue is special – and different – in a really good way.

For their reception entertainment, they chose the popular Pittsburgh wedding band Dreamscape.  Check out these awesome photos complements of Liquid Light Photography!

Maura and Joe are a very sweet, happy couple. The pair came through many obstacles to be together and were so excited to become husband and wife. The couple planned for a traditional wedding with all the trimmings- a beautiful church, venue, with gorgeous flowers, cake, and one of Pittsburgh’s best live bands to perform at their reception. Dreamscape played their favorite tunes and encouraged all their guests to get out on the dance floor at the Ambassador Center. The bride and groom could not have asked for more, their day was just as they imagined!

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Newlyweds Formal

The bride was a real beauty. With porcelain skin, natural makeup, and a swept up hair do, she must have taken the everyone’s breath away! Her off the shoulder wedding dress was covered in lace and her skirt was made of soft tulle. Her veil was pinned in the back and we love that she also wore a pretty headband.

Their ceremony took place at the St. George Catholic Church. Friends and family watched as the bride and groom exchanged rings and vows. The church was modestly decorated with two large flower arrangements at the altar and clusters of roses adorned the aisle.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Exchanging Vows

Their photographer, Rachel Lusky, took wonderful pictures of the bride and groom throughout their day. The relief and emotion was captured so well in this photo below. You did it! You’re married and now it’s time to party!

THANK YOU, John!  The reception was fantastic with Tammi and Dreamscape!  I told Tammi we had dancers, but I was amazed that no one sat down – the dance floor was full all night long!  And the fact that the band  all work so well together just made the evening flow perfectly.  It was a beautiful night! – Mother of the Bride.

Navy and coral are not two colors you see often at weddings! Which is a shame, because the colors certainly go together very well. We love the pop of coral against the bridesmaids cool blue dresses. We also love that while each dress was short in length (easy for dancing!), the styles were different. Way to go for personal style and comfort! These ladies look great!

A formal pose of the groom with his groomsmen, in their charcoal gray suits and navy blue ties. Wearing big smiles and supporting the groom, we bet they were ready for some great music at the reception.

The Ambassador Center looked so gorgeous! The couple decorated the space with white tablecloths, navy napkins, and coral floral arrangements. Sparkly chandeliers and elegant lighting added to the ambiance. A large dance floor was in view of every table with plenty of room to boogie down to Dreamscape band.

Let’s take a closer look at the floral arrangements. On a bed of greenery, the coral and pink roses and daises really looked popped! Alburn Florist did a wonderful job! Not to mention the bouquets- all creations of beauty.

Ambassador Center Pittsburgh Wedding Bride and Groom Dancing

For their first dance the bride and groom chose a Beatles song- “Here, There, and Everywhere.” They asked Dreamscape to play a CD recording. The bride then danced with her father to “I Loved Her First”, performed live by the band. There was not a dry eye in the room!

Dreamscape read the crowd and played songs to keep everyone on the dance floor. The band was rocking, guests of all ages loved the beat, loved the music. The bride and groom asked the band to play some classic rock as well as other popular party hits.

John Parker Band first explained, and then led, the breaking of the bread tradition as guests were seated. The mother of the groom and bride took part in holding and feeding the bride and groom a piece of the bread. Then, the best man had to break the bread in half over their heads, symbolizing who would be the bread winner and big spender of the family! John Parker Band was happy to be a part of the fun tradition. Guests were treated to a sit down dinner as toasts began from various family members. Soon the bride would dance with her father to “Daddy’s Angel” and the groom with his mother to “The First Lady In My Life”.

The party really got rocking with some Bulgarian music. The bride and groom knew how important it was to their family to play familiar music. The band was able to play many of the songs they requested & DeeJay all the rest. Another Greek tradition is the money dance, which everyone danced and cheered, tossing money around. Doesn’t that look like a blast? That’s a great shot below of everyone having a good time!

Molly and Andy had a classy wedding celebration. The Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh was the perfect fit for their ceremony, outdoor cocktail hour, and reception. Having every part of your wedding at the same location is so convenient, and easy, for friends and family! Especially when the venue is as beautiful as the Hotel Monaco. The couple also had a few specialty dances up their sleeve- a Croatian dance called the kolo, which was important to the bride’s mother and aunts. It was quite the show! They also requested some popular songs for the band to play, such as “Uptown Funk”, “Shut Up and Dance”, and Happy”.

Capri and Louis were wed on a gorgeous sunny day. There was not a cloud in the sky as the couple said their “I do’s” at their outdoor ceremony. The reception venue, the White Barn, was a true throwback to vintage decor with strings of pearls, lace, and breathtaking floral arrangements.

For live entertainment, the dancing-till-you-drop Pittsburgh wedding band, City Heat, performed for their family and friends as they danced non stop all evening long. The couple created the perfect playlist for the band to play, with fun, groovy tunes, getting guests up and on their feet, till their shoes came off!

Weddings are all about the details, and in this wedding, there were many to see. Simple and romantic, little touches are everywhere, starting with the bride. She wore slingback wedges and a form fitting gown. Her dress was covered in lace, and the back delicately woven with flowers and dotted with buttons.

Tatum and Charlie’s wedding was an elegant family affair. With all their friends and family in attendance, the bride and groom held their ceremony and reception at the¬†Carnegie Museum Music Hall Foyer¬†in Pittsburgh. The venue gleamed with votive candles and sequin tables. Pittsburgh wedding band City Heat, a top¬†live wedding band, performed throughout their reception, with instrumental music during cocktail hour and fun, lively music during the dinner & dancing. It was a night the bride and groom will never forget!

Their ceremony was held at the Hall of Sculpture inside the museum. Pink and white roses were tied to the chairs and tall candles lined the aisle. We loved the centerpieces placed at the altar, a unique arrangement of flowers and branches.

The bridal court definitely looked the part for this wedding! Sweet and sassy, the bridesmaids wore flashy gold dresses and the groomsmen donned black tuxedos. Small bouquets of roses were carried by the girls and a simple rose was pinned to the groomsmen jackets. We loved how the groom stood out from the rest of the men by wearing a bow tie and extra flower pinned to his jacket lapel.

After the ceremony cocktail hour took place¬†on the balcony above the reception hall. Guests mingled and munched on hors d’oeuvres as City Heat’s pianist played beautifully, setting the mood. As cocktail hour came to a close, it was time for the bride and groom to have their first dance. This impressive photo was taken by¬†Araujo Photography of Pittsburgh,¬†capturing the beauty of the space and the intimate moment between the bride and groom.¬†The couple requested the band to play song “Something” for their first dance.

At each place setting, a menu rested atop the gold and white china. Guests were served a sit down dinner followed by dessert-a scrumptious cake! Suzanne and Chris were married on a beautiful sunny day. The ceremony took place at Shakespeare’s Terrace, a separate space on the grounds of Shakespeare’s Restaurant. The bride and groom said “I do” under a charming altar wrapped in crisp white tulle. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds walked down the cobblestone¬†path, which was decorated with pink sash ribbons and a cascade of rose petals.

Shakespeare Restaurant Bride and Groom Walk Down Aisle

Suzanne chose a mix of light and dark colors for her fall wedding- red, black, peach, and white. The bridesmaid dresses were formal and elegant, with a pretty lace overlay and ribbon sashes tied at the waist. We loved the deep crimson roses in their bouquets, which really made a statement and stood out against their dark dresses. The girls all looked so beautiful with their side swept hairstyles and long, sparkly chandelier earrings. We must also draw attention to Suzanne and her gorgeous, intricate wedding gown. Her dress was covered in lace, flared out at the bottom, and with simple jewelry and a sweetheart top, she was flawless. Spectacular job ladies!

Of course, we have to give the gentlemen some love. The groom and his groomsmen looked like a million bucks in their gray pinstriped pants and dark suit jackets. The matching bow tie and handkerchief were a sweet touch, each handkerchief tucked just so in every pocket. Take a look at the groom, front and center, with that huge smile on his face. That says it all.

Suzanne’s bouquet was a beauty, a true work of art. This stunning image captured by Tiffany Wolfe, their wedding photographer, shows every flower in bloom. The bouquet was a combination of pink peonies, peach dahlias, and white and lavender roses. The stems were wrapped in a lace fabric with small, tiny pearls, to¬†match Suzanne’s dress. All of her flowers were arranged by the talented¬†Posies by Patti¬†florist.

The entertainment for the wedding was provided by none other than the amazing¬†John Parker Band. Suzanne and Chris chose the song “More Than Words” for their first dance as husband and wife. Many of their song choices were classics, such as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, which was their pick for the bride and father dance, as well as the groom and mother dance.

“The band exceeded our expectations! Guests were so impressed and many wished John performed publicly so that they could see the band again!!” – Bride & Groom

The reception was held inside the grand ballroom of¬†Shakespeare’s Restaurant. From the outside, the building is reminiscent of an ancient castle. Inside, the grand ballroom is incredibly romantic, with dimly lit candelabra chandeliers, white backed chairs, and lacy draped tables. Vases¬†of flowers were clustered together on every table with small votive candles. The dance floor is in the center of the room with plenty of space for family and friends to dance, jump, and jive.

What a gorgeous day for a wedding, with clear blue skies and plenty of sunshine! Annie and Tyler had exquisite taste, from the menu cards, to the gleaming white china, centerpieces, table linens, and an awesome live band,  every detail was clearly thought of. We adore this photo of Annie and Tyler gazing at each other lovingly, outside the romantic brick building of their venue, the Longue Vue Club Рa masterpiece of classic elegance in Pittsburgh PA.

Longue Vue Club Pittsburgh Wedding: Newlyweds at Historic Venue

The bride and groom chose¬†Sky’s the Limit Photography¬†to photograph their wedding. These are talented folks, as their photographs captured amazing moments. We love the attention to detail in the following photos below. In one shot,¬†Annie’s white satin shoes are surrounded by bright red holly berries. In another photo, her bouquet and wedding rings rest on a bed of pine needles. And lastly, there is a photo of Annie herself, radiating elegance and grace, in her timeless satin dress.

Annie’s lush bouquet consisted of white roses and hydrangeas. The stems were wrapped in sheer organza, a lovely touch. Annie’s look was complete with teardrop diamond earrings and a fancy up-do, with one curl loose around her face. What a beautiful bride!

Longue Vue Club Pittsburgh Wedding Ceremony: Cathedral Exterior

The ceremony was held at the magnificent St. Mary’s of the Mount¬†church. Timely and old worldly, with arched ceilings and wooden pews, St. Mary’s cathedral is breathtaking. Lanterns glowed from above and sunlight poured in through the stained windows while Annie and Tyler exchanged their vows.

We love this black and white photo of the bride and groom walking down the aisle, smiling from ear to ear, as they embark on their new journey as husband and wife.

Longue Vue Club Pittsburgh Wedding Reception: Rustic Reception Venue

The reception was held at the historic¬†Longue Vue Club.¬†The venue was elegant and sophisticated, just like the bride and groom. As soon as guests entered the room, they were greeted by the sounds of the live band and the visual elegance of tall floral centerpieces that matched the bride’s bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas. Her florist, RJ Kohler, also¬†mixed in evergreens, holly berries, and other assorted greenery. There were also a few long, rectangular tables, that had smaller floral arrangements with entwined evergreens used as a runner.

Longue Vue Club Pittsburgh Wedding Reception: Towering Floral Centerpieces

Natural light spilled in from the french doors and crisp white linens draped every table. Music filled the air. The china gleamed, simple and clean. Small votive candles flickered and menu cards were tucked gently inside each napkin. Pine wreaths and royal tapestries hung above every window and the gold chiavari chairs and gold chandeliers gave the space a sense of grandeur.  The place card holders were adorned with holly berries displaying each table number in fancy script.

Longue Vue Club Pittsburgh Wedding Reception: White Layer Cakes with Flowers

Annie and Tyler had three cakes- one three tier, one two tier, and a groom’s cake. They were done by¬†Jennuine Cakes, an amazing baker. While the cakes are simple and sleek, we love the fun and original black and white check board platters!

Longue Vue Club Pittsburgh Wedding Reception: Evergreen Table Accents

The live entertainment of the wedding¬†was Pittsburgh’s top wedding band, the¬†John Parker Band.¬†¬†The couple loves to dance and asked the band to get everyone on their feet, as soon as possible. With a mix of 60’s, 70’s, and 90’s, and top 40 music, the band complied, and their guests flocked to the dance floor.

One look at this couple, Jenna and Jason, and there’s no doubt these two are a perfect match. They share infectious smiles and joyful faces as they unite as husband and wife. Their intimate first dance captures the hearts of all their friends and family. Every photo, taken by the talented Alison Mish, emits happiness and love. We love everything about this wedding, down to Jenna’s vintage inspired wedding dress, with intricate lace detailing, her flowers, cake, candy buffet, and taste in music!

St Clair Country Club Wedding Bride and Groom

Jenna and Jason’s ceremony and reception took place at the St. Clair Country Club. The bride and groom were blessed with beautiful weather the day of their wedding and they were able to have their ceremony outside under a large tent. Gorgeous chandeliers dangled from above and sunlight poured in, providing the perfect amount of natural light. A string quartet played while the couple exchanged vows.

The ballroom inside the St. Clair Country Club¬†was¬†adorned with beautiful¬†floral arrangements and votive candles. There was also a timeless white pearl studded cake, tall candles on pillars, and a fun blue candy buffet. The bouquets carried by the bride and bridesmaids matched seamlessly with large blooming pink peonies, white roses, and hydrangeas. Every last detail tied in with the bride’s color scheme of gray, white, and pink. The decor is simple, yet sophisticated and so classy.

We also dig the mix of high and low centerpieces the bride and groom chose for their reception. Hens and Chicks, their florist, did an amazing job with the table arrangements. Their tables were draped in soft white cloths with flowers arranged in clear glass vases. Votive candles added to the ambiance of the space, their dim light romantically flickering across the ballroom. We also love how Jenna and Jason chose gray candle pillars to draw the eye up high and to tie in with the color of the bridesmaid dresses.

The cake, provided by the St. Clair Country Club, featured a vintage bride and groom topper. We love the simple white cream piping and decorative white pearls. So charming and classy! And, of course, we also love the quaint, silver cake stand, and cake servers to tie it all in.

The bride and groom requested the band,¬†City Heat,¬†to play “Just the Way You Are” for their first dance. With their friends and family surrounding them, Jenna and Jason held each other close and swayed to the music, so happy and so in love.

Jenna and Jason sure know how to have a good time. Take a look at those fun, specialty drinks! And those perfect manicures, ladies! We adore the sweet candy bar- guests had their pick from chocolate to pretzels to sticky, chewy taffy. See the rock candy resting on those silver platters? What a nice touch! The shades of blue and silver provide just the right pop of color amid the calm color scheme.
